Every town follows the same state process, in which you apply at your local department online through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal or on paper, and the fee for most applicants is $100. The sections below show what the Duxbury department adds to it.

- Once the application is filed online new applicants must book an appointment to have the license processed in-person with the Firearms Licensing Officer.

- You may also pay using a check or money order made payable to the "Town of Duxbury".
- We do not accept cash.
Renewals
- Online renewal applicants no longer need an appointment with the Firearms Licensing Officer to have their application processed.
