Every town follows the same state process, in which you apply at your local department online through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal or on paper, and the fee for most applicants is $100. The sections below show what the Pembroke department adds to it.

How to apply

  • Stop at the Station and ask to be put on the list.
  • Fill out the (4) page application (sign pages 3 and 4).

Fees and payment

  • If under 70 years old, include a check made out to the Town of Pembroke for $100.
  • If you are over 70, there is no charge.

Fingerprints and interview

  • We will conduct interviews over the phone if warranted.
