Every town follows the same state process, in which you apply at your local department online through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal or on paper, and the fee for most applicants is $100. The sections below show what the East Bridgewater department adds to it.
Appointments and hours
- New applicants must also still submit a request for an appointment through the East Bridgewater Police Firearms e-mail at LTC@eastbridgewaterma.gov for fingerprinting.

Renewals
- Renewals submitted through the state portal system must have the Affidavit signed and submitted through the attachments or brought to the East Bridgewater Police Station with payment.
- Renewal payment may be dropped off at any time.
