Every town follows the same state process, in which you apply at your local department online through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal or on paper, and the fee for most applicants is $100. The sections below show what the North Andover department adds to it.

Fingerprints and interview

  • The fingerprint portion is done electronically at the station and is required.
  • Your current Massachusetts driver license photo and fingerprints of file will be used to complete the application.
