Every town follows the same state process, in which you apply at your local department online through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal or on paper, and the fee for most applicants is $100. The sections below show what the Windsor department adds to it.
Renewals
- Enclose a check for $100.00 made out to the Town of Windsor for the permit fee.
- We will call you to review your application after submission.
- You do not need a new photo for the permit - it will be taken from the RMV photo on your driver's license.
