Every town follows the same state process, in which you apply at your local department online through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal or on paper, and the fee for most applicants is $100. The sections below show what the Spencer department adds to it.

  • When your LTC/FID has arrived it will be mailed to your address with the appropriate paperwork.

Renewals

  • You may then mail the department the fee for the renewal or drop it off at the department lobby.
