Every town follows the same state process, in which you apply at your local department online through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal or on paper, and the fee for most applicants is $100. The sections below show what the Framingham department adds to it.

  • You will pay your fee on the day of your interview appointment.

Fingerprints and interview

  • At the time of your submission, the Department will make you an appointment for an interview and to have your ID photo and fingerprints taken.
